Motus Wellfulness Clinic is an out-of-network clinic that works with an upfront payment model. As clinicians passionate about providing the highest level of care, we’ve made the purposeful decision not to participate with health insurance programs. Doing so would make it exponentially more challenging for us to serve you; this is due to administrative overhead costs and claims processing times, along with the exhaustive disadvantages to a volume-based care model. Our goal is transparency: with us, what you see is what you get. If you have chiropractic and/or physical therapy insurance coverage, you can possibly receive reimbursement for your rehabilitation. We also accept Medical Reimbursement Account (MRA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), and Health Savings Account (HSA) funds as methods of payment.

No, we don't take insurance; but that is truly a GOOD thing. Unlike all too many healthcare providers, we work for you and not the insurance companies. When clinics accept insurance, they allow the insurance companies to set all the rules. Unfortunately, insurance companies' bottom line is always purely financial. When you step outside that system, the patient and the provider set all the rules. By not taking insurance, Motus can put your health needs first without any restrictions. Not only do we want you to feel better in your body and life, we want to empower you to meet whatever goals you set.

Good news! You can still submit your physical rehab costs to your insurance company for reimbursement. After your visit and completion of payment, Motus can provide you with a detailed receipt called a superbill. Once you receive this, follow the steps below to submit for reimbursement.
Log in to your insurance company’s website.
Click on the claim button and start a claim.
Answer your insurance questionnaire and upload the superbill provided to you by Motus.
Be patient; it may take 5-7 weeks to hear back from your insurance company.
Note: Before submitting, we always recommend that you call your insurance company to ensure that you understand your coverage.
Your initial physical rehab session will be one hour.
We will spend time discussing how you are and what we can do to serve you, listening intently to discover your overall concerns and goals.
We’ll conduct a custom physical/lifestyle exam.
As a team, we’ll outline your diagnosis, treatment, and plan of care. Using all of this information, we will make recommendations on how you can get the most out of our services.
Your treatment will start immediately. From there, we’ll guide you through Motus’ four stages of Wellfulness.
After your sessions you can request your superbill for submission to your insurance company for reimbursement. However, if your treatment plan includes multiple sessions, we recommend that you wait until everything is completed to submit your superbill.
